Empowering Back Businesses a Key to Economic Recovery

As the media continuously depicts, the American economy is faltering as the days passed by. The budget deficit has soared so high that it almost has become unimaginable. With financial institutions continuing to crumble, more workers are removed from their jobs and are left unemployed. Unemployment rates have become so high that most graduates have no job after graduation. The way of living in America has certainly become so hard that most families or individuals are already suffering from the ill effects that it has brought to the nation.

Dennis Santiago talks about the present economic situation and strategies to attain economic recovery. If you look at the bigger picture, American citizens are really suffering hard from this economic meltdown. About 20% of Americans are either unemployed or are employed yet are earning the under the minimum wage. The middle class people are struggling to cope up with their financial obligations and are in danger of losing their homes.

The American standard for living used to be one of most admired and most sought-after of the world. And now, the used-to-be wide gap between other countries and the US has slowly trimmed down. He emphasized the need to strengthen the domestic industry. American business companies and manufacturers should be able to produce again the quality products that were once the best in the world. In order to bring back the country into stability, empowering businesses should first be a priority. As a result, more jobs are created and the industrial sector will be right on track again.

Demands go higher whenever people have purchasing power. If companies gain back their confidence to do business again, it creates a domino effect where people also begin to increase demand for products and commodities. Through this, the country will slowly but surely recover from the ill effects of recession and start bringing back the American dream. Of course the government should also be in full support of this strategy while also passing bills and programs that will benefit every entity that the country possess.

It is important to note that every citizen may also contribute to this nationwide strategy. The voting sector may greatly influence the future of America. By telling their politicians to wisely spend the nation’s budget and implement only projects that are reasonably efficient enough, we will eventually have a better and wise government where the primary focus is to help the citizens of America by doing what’s right and paying attention very carefully.
